About Me
Hello there! I'm so happy you're here :) My name is Rilla Widmayer. I'm a portrait photographer located in beautiful northern Idaho, more specifically the Lewiston area. I recently married and am happily settling into my new home!
Where it all began...
I bought a hot pink Fujifilm camera when I was eight years old, and photography, especially portraits, quickly became one of my passions. Over the years, I have updated my equipment and learned a lot ;), but I still love every aspect of it -- from connecting with my lovely clients, to creating a joyful shoot and capturing those very special moments for you and your loved ones, and finally, delivering an online gallery of beautifully edited images. I feel so privileged to be doing something I love!
When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me decorating my home, enjoying a flower garden, doing a craft project, thrift shopping, or exploring Idaho with my husband. I am a Christian and one of my greatest joys is seeking to know the Lord and learning to please Him in everything I do!
Connection
I love people. I want to hear your story, get to know you, become part of your life. I believe photography is not awkwardly posing in front of a camera saying cheese. It is so much more! It's about connection with someone you trust to capture those special moments in life that don't last forever. It's about joyfully reviewing again and again not just your photos, but also the fun, smiles, and laughter we shared during the shoot.
